UKPI was established with a clear mandate: to deliver a framework for A2A that is secure, scalable, and built for the real-world needs of businesses and consumers across the UK.
UKPI operates through a transparent, multi-layered governance model. Independent non-executive directors provide oversight at Board level, while specialist working groups lead delivery across technical, legal and operational areas.
All major deliverables are published for consultation prior to adoption, ensuring firms can review, challenge and shape the framework
Non-executive directors set direction and approve standards, ensuring independence from delivery.
Senior representatives from member organisations translate strategy into a deliverable roadmap.
Working groups bring together technical, product and policy expertise to develop detailed specifications.
A governance structure that takes into the views from across the ecosystem to inform decisions and future direction.
We believe strong outcomes come from genuine collaboration. Our approach is grounded in openness, accountability and a shared commitment to delivering solutions that work in practice.
From our Managing Director
